ABSTRACT

Objective@#To understand the current status of the team structure of health personnel in primary and secondary schools, and to provide suggestions and references for strengthening and optimizing school health workforce.@*Methods@#A nationwide stratified random cluster sampling method was adopted to select provinces for investigation in stratification from 2015-2016, a total of 16 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, 26 survey sites, 10 027 primary and secondary schools, 9 536 questionnaires of health personnel were collected.@*Results@#Among the 9 536 school health staffs, there were various types of positions, and different types of schools had different position types construction. Elementary schools had the most part time health care teachers, accounting for 77.6%, while full time school doctors only accounting 10.0%; high schools had the most full time school doctors, accounting for 65.7%, and part time health care teachers only accounting for 15.1 %. There were various employment channels, with the most transfer jobs in schools, accounting for 70.7%. The series of professional titles were diverse, with the teaching profession accounting for 67.4%. Most of school health teachers had junior and intermediate professional titles, accounting for 42.6%, respectively. Proportion of medium, medium low, and low level of salary accounted for 39.3%, 27.9% and 21.1% respectively.@*Conclusion@#The educational background and age distribution of school health personnel is reasonable, but the proportions of medical background and full time school doctors are relatively low. School health personnel have various job types, professional titles, salary level, and limited space of career development. Top level design from the policy level, and clearly defined improve the structure of school health personnel to meet the needs of high quality development of school health work in the new era.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the effects of hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) on the expression of FasL mRNA and caspase-3 protein in renal tissue after renal ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) in order to elucidate the underlying mechanisms. Methods Rats were randomly divided into thrcc groups: sham group(n=8),IRI group(n=8) and IRI+HBO group(n=8).The IRI group and the IRI+HBO group recieved 45 minutes hibateral renal ischima and the IRI +HBO group received additional HBO therapy at the 1st,24th and 48th hour after ischemia. The kidneys were removed at the end of HBO therapy.Malondialdehyde (MDA) level and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity were measured to determine the extent of oxidative stress. The expression of FasL mRNA and caspase-3 protein was detected by quantitative real-time PCR and immunohistochemical staining in renal tissue respectively. Results Compared with the sham group,MDA level increased markedly and SOD activity decreased markedly after ischemia. After HBO treatment,MDA level decreased and SOD activity increased significantly (P <0.05).In IRI group, the expression of FasL mRNA and caspase-3 protein were higher than those in the sham group (P<0.01),which were reduced significantly by HBO treatment (P<0.01).Conclusion The expression of FasL mRNA and caspase-3 protein increases along with the lasting of reperfusion and HBO exhibites protection against cell apoptosis through improving the antioxidant-oxidant balance and reducing IRI in acute stage of IRI.

ABSTRACT

Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis [IPA] among patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease [COPD] is increasing in frequency. We conducted this study to find out the approximate incidence of IPA in patients with acute exacerbation of COPD [AECOPD], and to determine whether using a combination of two tests [galactomannan [CM] antigen and 1,3-[3-glucan [BG] detection] would result in a more specific diagnosis of IPA. The study included 261 patients with AECOPD admitted over two years. The patients were categorized according to the modified definitions for IPA. CM antigen and BG were detected by the Platelia Aspergillus and Glucatell tests. Two patients had proven IPA, three had probable IPA, and two had possible IPA. The rate of proven or probable IPA in patients with AECOPD was 1.91% [5/261]. Four patients with proven and probable IPA had been treated with a systemic or inhaled corticosteroid before hospitalization and the typical symptoms and diagnostic signs of IPA were relatively less common in them. Mortality in patients with proven and probable IPA was 80%. The specificity of combined CM and BG detection was 98.8%. Combining two serological tests increased the specificity of diagnosis but further trials are needed to prove the value of this approach

ABSTRACT

Digital Imaging Communications in Medicine(DICOM) was brought forward by ACR and NEMA to solve the joining problem of medical equipment. It is a public international standard now. Using DICOM in teleradiology is very important, especially for China. In this paper the authors analyze the contents and specialty of DICOM and make comments on how to use it in teleradiology and picture access and communication system(PACS).
